Saturday, May 14, 2011 1733 On Saturday 5-14-2011 at 1733 Valley City Fire Department was dispatched to 1533 Heavenly View Ln. for a house struck by lightning, fire in the attic. On arrival Engine 11 found light smoke coming from the roof.  The fire was extinguished within 15 minutes and was contained to a small section of the roof.  No injuries to occupants or damage to the contents of the house were reported.  Engine 11, Engine 12, Heavy Rescue 18, Squad 17-1, Car 19-1, and utility 19-2 responded to the call.
