On 5-14-2011 Valley City Fire Department Participated in a
16 department, 4 county water shuttle exercise at the Cleveland Hopkins
Airport. The exercise was to plan for the event of a water system failure at
the airport. The exercise involved drafting water out of a nearby pond and shuttling
it with water tender’s to the airport where it was dumped into a tank and
pumped to one of the airport crash trucks. Valley City Participated with
Tender-13, which is a 2000 gallon water tender.
