Sunday, July 11, 2010 0514 On July 11, 2010 at 5:14 A.M. Valley City Fire Department was toned out for a motor vehicle accident with injuries on Abbeyville Rd. Units that responded were 17-1, Rescue 18 and Engine 11. On arrival, the car was found on its passenger side with the driver trapped inside. The vehicle required stabilization with the use of the Res-Q-Jack system. The driver was extricated through the windshield.  It took 30 minutes to free the victim from the vehicle. A Life Flight helicopter was landed in the field next to the scene. The victim was flown by Life Flight to Metro Hospital.
